Pipeline valves

Pipeline valves are a set of devices, fasteners and parts used to regulate the flow of various working environments. Pipeline valves are installed on all kinds of pipelines, units and vessels. Pipeline valves are actuated manually or with the help of additional devices and instruments, for example, by means of electric drive or control columns of gate valves, gate valves, ball cocks.

All existing types of pipeline valves are divided into mixing and safety valves. Shut-off valves - is an industrial pipeline valve, which is used to completely shut off the flow of liquid or gaseous substances in the pipeline. Shut-off valves are the most common type of pipeline valves, they are designed to ensure complete tightness in relation to the external environment and in the gate itself. Water shut-off valves are used in various engineering systems, whether it is a water supply, sewage or heating system. It includes such devices as cocks, valves and gates of various types and designs.

Gate valves

Gate valves - shut-off devices, in which the passage is closed by translational movement of the gate in the direction perpendicular to the flow of the transported medium   

Gate valves (knife gate valves)

Gate valves, sometimes referred to as knife gate valves (guillotine type), are mainly used in sewage, wastewater with a high level of contamination of the medium. Also, in the same section slide gate valves for high pressures for "complex" media. oil, gas, steam.

Butterfly disc valve

A butterfly disc valve is a type of valve in which a shutoff element in the form of a disc with a diameter approximately equal to the internal diameter of the pipeline is opened and closed by rotating the disc around an axis perpendicular to the pipeline axis.

Ball valves

Ball valves are a shut-off device. The operation is based on a ball element with a hole. When the ball rotates, it either closes the channel or opens it.

Shut-off valves

A shut-off valve designed as a valve, i.e. its closing element moves parallel to the axis of the medium flow. Like other types of valves, shut-off valves are used for complete closure of its flow area, and therefore the flow of the working environment; that is the closing element, which in a shut-off valve is often a spool, in the process of operation is in the extreme positions "open" or "closed".

Control valves

A control valve is a type of pipeline valve and is the most frequently used type of control valve for continuous (analog) as well as discrete control of flow and pressure. Control valves perform this task by varying the flow rate of the medium through their flow area.

Safety valves

Safety valves are required to protect against mechanical destruction of equipment and pipelines by excess pressure, by automatically releasing excess of liquid, steam and gaseous medium from systems with elevated pressure. The valves specified in this section stop discharging the medium when the operating pressure is restored.

Check valves

Non-return valve (check valve) is an automatic self-acting safety device. This type of valve is able to protect pump, vessel, process and pipeline systems from emergency situations. The main function of the check valve is to prevent the backflow of the working medium in the linear part of the pipeline.

Balancing valves

Balancing valves are used for hydraulic balancing, regulating and limiting the flow in heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems.

Regulators

A regulator is a control valve, controlled automatically by the action of the process medium on a control or sensor element.

Regulators of pressure, temperature, level, etc.

 

Filters

Filters - a device installed on the pipeline to clean the environment (gas, water, air, petroleum products, etc.).

Condensate drains

Condensate traps are fittings designed to automatically remove condensate. Condensate can appear as a result of steam loss in heat exchangers and during heating of pipelines and installations, when part of the steam turns into water. The presence of condensate in steam systems leads to water hammer, reduction of heat output and deterioration of steam quality.
